find out if this is the right course for you
It is a scary place out there, that place where the bills keep coming but you need a few months off your day job to build your art business. We’re artists – it’s never black or white, it has to be colorful so leaving your day job may not be the smartest idea right now but your mindset for success should be aiming at flying out of that 9 to 5 nest. You’ll find the right support system right here with me as, well – been there, done that.
Art and money combined is an abstract matter. It’s a question of what you see honestly. Some will think of artists and imagine the ones selling their work on the streets or caricaturing people and some will think of artists and see Picasso or Van Gogh. And let’s face it, we’ve been brainwashed to think artists = poor. But I’m here to break it down to you as I’ve said before, it does not have to be extreme – either you make it big or don’t make it at all. It is safe to say you can and should make money off your art. Get your thinking straight! What you do well is worth cash. Why? Because it’s unique and someone out there is eager to purchase what you’re selling.
my name is Giselle, mom of 3, originally from Belgium and I’m a full time illustrator. I studied art in Antwerp, Belgium and then moved to Israel and graduated in design at Shenkar College.
After graduation I’ve struggled with finding a way to make a living out of my art. I took on 9 to 5 jobs that I couldn’t stand, acquired some mediocre freelance projects and lost myself a few times along the way.
It was only 5 years ago that I decided to take matters into my own hands, took to social media, experimented with watercolor and found my happy place. Today I can state that I am a full time artist that earns a fantastic living out of what I love doing most and am here to tell you
the same can happen for you.

A big chunk of success is self-determination and your perception of yourself. You must let all the fears out to be able to see and think clearly. Fuel your faith with the knowledge and certainty that your talent can bring you places you’ve never visited but definitely belong to. Once your belief system is on point, the next key is staying motivated.
Once you start your art business, you will encounter your clientele. They will have feedback, complaints, requests and business offers for you to consider. This is the time to learn how to handle everything client related from a casual chit chat down to contract deals.
Your time and talent are worth money, in some cases, big money. It all depends on the exposure of your art, its uniqueness and it being relatable to the large public. You will learn to price your art according to your popularity and expertise. The days of being a humble and poor artist are gone, wave them goodbye!
The broad spectrum of possibilities to make good money off your art is incredible. The awesome thing about art is that some of it is timeless and others are trendy. In other words, our art is appreciated forever. If you figure out where and how to publish your art onto various platforms, the passive income will thereafter follow. You will be able to generate anywhere between $8000 to $12,000 a month – or more, depending how much work you put into it!
Learn how to stay organized, discipline yourself and create a routine for your business. This is part of owning your brand and being your own boss. For the most part, it’s all ‘good times’ maintaining absolute freedom to do things your way but keep in mind you will need all of the mentioned above bullets in order to stick to being your own boss.
